Riis Red Angus is a livestock
of meat cattle which main goal is to breed as much high quality
meat as possible at as small expense as possible.
We believe this goal is
reached with Red Angus. It is neither too big, too broad nor
coarse-limbed.
Moreover, it is a cattle breed
with easy calvings and a calm temper. It is ready for
slaughtering at 12 to 13 months (Weight at slaughtering 350 kg
- class 11-12 fatness 3 with nice marbling).
We usually sell our best
offspring for breeding.
Presently we have outstanding
young bulls (13 – 14 months) for sale.
All of our breeding stock is
either imported cattle or offspring thereof.
The breeding bulls are always
E. T. – chosen from Canadian prime stock – with as much meat as
possible.
In addition to the Red Angus
livestock, we have also got about 200 chinchillas that we use
for breeding.
